This place should have a higher rating. The service was impeccable (many thank Giovanni!) and the food was delicious. The best we have had on our trip. I had the cooked octopus on mashed potatoes and my mom had grilled fish and fries. Both spectacular. We had the orange flan for dessert and that was a first for me - it was incredible.

Excellent choice, best food so far on our trip, good local white whine from valencia, super friendly waiter called Manolo, who is very attentive bit quite serious as well he is the owner. Next to the ocean but not one of those touristic traps. Totally recommend. Its family owned.

The last thing Giovanni, our tireless waiter, needs, is us - the Sunday lunch wave is dying down, we barely know the town, and we have a dog. No giving up though - true to the mark of a good host -and a good restaurant- he’s polite, speedy, and alert to all details, making our stay as cozy as if it was his home. Casual easy chic dining, al fresco or indoors. Service was excellent, Giovanni took care of our orders & service, recommending us the insalada & the grilled pulpo on mashed potato. Both dishes were very well flavoured. What is a meal without the famous paella while in Valencia?! The squid ink seafood paella was fresh, no ‘inky’ taste or smell and tasted a bit sweet - we enjoyed it with freshly blended tomato, which gave a burst of flavours. The original Valencian paella of chicken (we choose not to have rabbit in the dish) beans and veg was equally tasty & goes with the aioli recommended.
