We decided to visit this restaurant due to how highly rated it was on Google. We had a disappointing experience. The pulpo frito was rubbery and came on a mash potato base with orange mayonnaise on top, tasting mediocre for 14€. The pulpo also tasted and looked more like choco than pulpo. The feature ‘tuna wok’ was also disappointing - a mixture of vegetables doused in soy sauce with small cubes of tuna mixed in. To add salt to the wound they charged us 2€ for the bread basket which we were provided without asking for it and weren’t told that it would cost extra.

Their expertise is evident in the octopus (a perfect Maillard reaction on the grill) and in the potato salad, where the fried egg adds a creaminess that binds the whole dish together. But the real culinary highlight is their 'fusion' shrimp fritter: daring to use a sacred Cádiz classic as a crispy base for a tartare is a stroke of genius in terms of textures and temperatures. I'll warn you now: the prices are exceptionally low for this quality. It's only a matter of time before they realize the level of their kitchen and raise the pr
