Restaurante José María was one of the highlights of our trip to Segovia. This place is unquestionably among the best restaurants in Spain and fully deserves its spot in the Michelin guide. The place to go in Segovia. Their speciality, suckling pig that the waiters carve it using a plate in front of all. Accompanied by freshly baked bread,it's delicious. Having the cochinillo whilst in Segovia is a famous tradition known all around the world. After researching many restaurants we decided for Jose Maria and it didn’t disappoint. Service was very professional and the cochinillo to die for. A highlight was seeing Jose Maria himself supervising that everything was perfect and visiting our table to say hello. All in all Jose Maria exceeded our expectations, it’s a restaurant that we highly recommend and would certainly return should we be in Segovia again at some point in the future.
