After trying Voltereta in Cordoba and realising there was one in Seville, we knew we had to try it - best decision ever. Again, if I could give a place more than five stars it’d be this one. From the minute you step into the restaurant, the decor is brilliant and transports you to another place instantly. We were blown away by the attention to detail and by the uniqueness of the restaurant’s concept (to make you feel like you’re dining in another part of the world). Probably the best food we had in Seville. Ambience was fantastic but service was quite slow. Decor fantastic. We got the oxtail croquettes, brioche katsu, Cigars de Montecristo, Creamy Burrata Salad with Almería Tomatoes, Tempura–beignet de verduras, Tortilla Voltereta and Pollo des Indes orientales. All were fantastic but the tomatoes were the star. Reasonably priced too, bill was around €60

Voltereta was a dining experience unlike any I have ever had! The theme is magical and the surprise entrance to the restaurant really helps to ‘transport’ you into the world of the restaurant. We ordered Tapas to taste as much as we could including the ‘Cigars of Monte-Cristo’ and both Croquette options - All of which were the highlights of our meal! Portions were generous and flavourful and there were several more options I would have tried, if I had more appetite! Only qualms we had were A) Limited drinks menu with little to no classic cocktails available and B) Staff weren’t very friendly

A bit disappointed… My previous visit to Voltereta Manhattan was fantastic, but this time - not so much! The main issue was the staff. They dismissed all my requests — I had asked for an end table and, if possible, some small decoration for a little birthday surprise. It seems to be company policy to not allow small decorations(which is ok), but they even forgot about the table. I had to specifically ask for an end table, even though the salon was empty.
