Stopped here for lunch whilst on a trip up the mountain. The waiter (who knew a guy called Neil from Wales) had a good try at communicating with us in English and between us we ordered the loveliest mixed grill, cooked on an open fire in front of us. The views are amazing. With a choice of indoor or outdoor seating you are spoiled for choice. We accessed the menu via a QR code stuck to the table. ‘Old Clothes’ delighted us and made us giggle, apparently it’s a chicken and chick pea type stew. Interesting place. This is not for tourists, it’s more for local people, so calculate with this. The food is delicious and the staff is nice. There are not enough parking places in lunch time.

This bar was a really nice place to discover. After viewing both the crater and pico de Las Nieves we found this place. For a good price we had some drinks and 2 very nice pizzas! The place is inexpensive and the staff is friendly. But most of all the drive to get there is amazing and the view you get from the bar is so beautiful. It is just a great pitstop that you should make.
