This is a no frill joint that the locals would eat at Toledo (our historical walking tour guide recommended it). The food was comforting and delicious with an excellent set menu price. With 16 euro, you could get an appetizer, entree, dessert and a drink (coffee, water, house wine). We both had their local pork stew with fries, seafood paella, and rice pudding. The service was fast and nice. Please be aware that English was extremely limited here. So, it would be helpful if you know some basic Spanish words about food

Centrally located on a charming street, this restaurant embodies the vibrant spirit of local cuisine. Their combo offer allows you to select an appetizer, main course, and drink. I opted for the garlic soup, which was piping hot and full of flavor, followed by the outstanding deer stew, paired with a rich, locally-sourced wine. The generous portions were a welcome surprise. Grilled squid is so delicious at Euro 12.50 100% local restaurant We were the only tourist there. Menu only in spainish but we have Google translate so it's fine Then suddenly the restaurant start to fill up with only 3 people taking care of the restaurant. Old man was very charming as I use Google translate to tell him our tour coach will leave in 40 mins and he jump queue for us. Lols.... Complimentary mini sausage so delicious 😋

Delicious homemade food. The daily menu offer is great. For the paid price you get reasonable portion of food + drinks. The staff is also very helpful. If you are looking to have lunch in a local place in Toledo, this is it. Con: the topping on the flan was quite burned tasting like burned caramel water.
