Interesting place on the main shopping street. I would've preferred to give 3.5 stars overal, but it is unfortunately not a 4 star (the staff are amazing though) Oyster starters weren't great Jamon iberico was quite dry and badly cut (our spanish friend wanted to send it back as he was quite offended) Patatas bravas are quite possibly some of the worse i've experienced in Spain - a plate of chips with some sauce on top that we needed to add tabasco to, so there was at least a little spice to them The entrecot was good and cooked well & if you only eat one thing here, it would be the meat Ov

Walked passed here several times, the guy was always giving out leaflets so we thought we'd try it tonight. Meat paella for 2, well it could easily do 4! Absolutely fantastic food, rice was excellent, meat was very well cooked and this was our 2nd paella in 3 days, the 1st down near the beach which we thought was good, but these guys do it on another level ! Excellent service, rapid turnaround of tables and fantastic tinto de verano. Prices are very good. Definitely worth a try. So, went back again tonight. Baby lamb chops that my beloved had were tiny! This is a great restaurant. I had been to El Toro Azul back in 2011 and it was delicious back then. I had recommended it to some friends and we were a group of six people. It did not disappoint. The food was wonderful, everyone loved what they ordered. Some ordered steaks which were cooked to their liking, some ordered fish and some of us ordered lamb. It was divine. We all highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. We had a lovely waitress who was funny and gave great service. Sorry, can't remember her name but she did enhance our experience. Okay, so El Toro Azul. This one is a bit tricky for me because my course was excellent and my wife’s was good but not great. There’s more to it though… So we ordered two beers while we chose our food, both beers came swiftly and were lovely and cold. It then took around 15 minutes (and I had to flag a waitress) to take our order. Fine. We ordered a fillet steak (me) and Entrecôte (wife) for mains. Now credit where it’s due, my fillet was sublime.
