Araia is, without question, one of the best restaurant experiences I have had. This gem sits at the top of my list of restaurants worldwide and one I will return to without hesitation. A resident of the US and in Madrid on work, I was wandering the neighborhood to get acclimated. I discovered Araia entirely by chance, walking past while the restaurant was closed. A giant octopus painted on the door in bold black ink stopped me in my tracks.
