I'd like to send a shout-out to our servers - we reserved an outdoor table on a sultry Monday evening - and we got there early by Valencia standards - 7:30 - Cocolinda has an excellent crew, and as the tables filled up outside, the servers kept up - impressively! They have a long walk from the table (across a car-traveled street to the restaurant, and back) but the restaurant has a mobile ordering service and the food came out promptly. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere is lovely. I enjoyed dishes featuring Valencian specialties, and every bite was a delight. Great little spot! On our way to the Natural Science Museum, we were hungry and had a cranky three year old in tow. We tried two other restaurants in the neighborhood but got declined a table for various reasons - we chalk it up to the toddler. We walked into Cocolinda and were greeted immediately with a smile and waved us towards a very comfortable table. Being Americans the waiter offered us menu's in English, but we told him we'd prefer to practice our spanish, to which he smiled and agreed. Service was awesome throughout the meal, and the menu del dia was fantastic. We had croquettes
