I arrived without a reservation, and they promptly showed me to a table in a small room (ideal for those who want more privacy). The food was very good, and the waiter's service was excellent, with suggestions (orange flan pudding) to ensure the experience matched the restaurant's standards. The only thing missing was a bit of background music in the restaurant to showcase Spanish life. I recommend making a reservation because it's easier for the restaurant to be full.

Outstanding! El Encuentro in Valencia is a true gem. The food is superb and the service is warm and attentive. We loved the croquetas de jamón — crispy outside, creamy and packed with ham inside. The alcachofas confitadas were tender and delicious. For mains, the merluza a la plancha was perfectly cooked and fresh, while the tacos de atún were vibrant and full of flavor. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant — we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant hidden at the corner of the street, we love their food from starter to dessert, all dishes are delicious and the service is very warm and friendly. For sure it is one of the best restaurants we have tried in Valencia so far. Highly recommended!
