Interesting twist on the Menu del Dia concept. Nice ambiance, although the French emphasis is a bit out of place with more Italian and Asian dishes (next to some Spanish classics). Well prepared food with a some creative touches. The salmorejo was excellent with apple cubes. The ensalada templada de verdura asados tasted good with the dressing. The solomillo de cerdo was well prepared meat but the sauce could be more exciting. The best dish was the risotto de setas, just full of flavour. Finishing of with nice warm apple tart/crumble with ice cream made it all value for money.

Waiters were nice and fairly quick. The creams were very oily and the steak dry (despite being rare) and VERY salty. The rest was OK overall.

I went with the menu when I visited. The meal was very average. The best thing about the meal was the carpuccio and the cheesecake. My main dish wasn't very good. Menu is around 20 dollars.

We had a lovely meal at Le Bistró. The lady who served us was great fun and very quick and efficient. It was lovely to sit outside 'people watching' and the heaters worked brilliantly. Food was delicious and we thoroughly recommend
