I ordered the menu of the day I specifically pointed to and asked for in Spanish gaspacho. I was brought white asparagus. I specifically requested rose wine. But as the waiter was walking away from me I heard him say "agua"Agua. Me, thinking that he was asking if i wanted table water, I said yes please. He brought me bottled water no rose. I spelled this all out on Google Translate and showed it to him he gave me a stunning smile and apologized. I asked again for gazpacho. Even just a little cup. It never materialized. We sat out on the main square on a warm September night and it was magical with all the surrounding illuminations. The starter (in the photo) was extremely original - a sweet and sour mixture: the base was half a bottled but firm peach filled with a salad of crab, onion, egg. raisins marinated in coñac and mayonnaise. Delicious!
