Lured by the prospect of a rooftop view of the Colombo skyline including the Lotus Tower, went to this 7th floor bar. Around 8pm, the place was completely empty and I had to walk up to a young waiter busy with his phone to check if the place is indeed open. He said it is and I took my seat overlooking the illuminated skyline. Ordered a draft beer that arrived rather quickly. A quick glance at the “Food Menu” told me that it’s only limited set menu pub food and not a full course menu. I ordered pepper pork and while waiting walked around taking photos of the brightly lit night sky showcasing the many tall buildings and the Lotus tower rising above it all. Soon I finished my beer and looked around to see that the kid who served me had gone back to his intense scrolling of his mobile phone. Again I had to walk up to him to get his attention. Update: when I wrote this review the morning after our dining experience I gave it 3.5⭐️ but I have since received call from the manager which made me downgrade this to 3 ⭐️. The manager called saying there were missed calls from my number which was me trying to make a reservation the day before and she promptly informed she wasn’t available and therefore didn’t have the phone on her hence why no one answered. I said well I called during your open hours and she reiterated that she wasn’t available and i asked but how do you expect to take reservation and she said i could have made an appointment through social media. Therefore please note this establishment is unreliable for reservations. I was surprised at how nice the ambiance is, very tastefully decorated but make sure to ask for a standing fan next to you because it can get really humid. Mixed reviews on the cocktails - jungle espresso was quite sweet which made it unbalanced but the narang-a-tang was quite nice, very refreshing.

We had a very disappointing experience. We ordered 4 shots of Smirnoff vodka, and the menu listed it as 50ml. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see it charged as 8 shots, with the price doubled. Their explanation was that the system charges per 25ml, so 50ml × 4 was calculated as 25ml × 8. But the reality is, what we were served was clearly not 50ml per shot, it looked like 25ml. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it left us with a very negative impression. It's not about the money, it's about the misleading way things are presented and the unpleasant experience it created. And to note, this wasn't our only order that night. Wouldn't recommend unless they fix the transparency and honesty in how they serve and charge customers.
