Very disappointed with our experience at Mr Kottu Grand Maharagama. We ordered a Masala Cheese Kottu, but what we received was completely different. It came as a plain veg or egg (idk what) kottu with two separate chicken drumsticks on the side, which looked like they had been fried multiple times. It looked very dry and unpleasant. When we raised this issue, the manager casually said that they have changed their dish to give separate drumsticks instead of mixing chicken to the kottu. And they never did inform about it when we order. The funniest part is the so called manager said that the owner had posted a video about it. Who’s the owner? Do we have to watch his videos before going to the restaurant? The manager’s response was unprofessional and dismissive. Definitely not worth the price or the hype. Quality and customer service need serious improvement.

First experience with Mr. Kottu at the Maharagama outlet was honestly disappointing. It’s really not as good as the social media hype suggests. The place needs serious improvement, especially in cleanliness. There were even flies around the table, which is something that seriously needs to be addressed. We ordered seafood kottu, but the fish tasted more like karawala, which ruined the whole dish. The mojitos were so bad that we couldn’t even drink them and had to leave them on the table. Definitely not what we expected. Hope they step up their standards.

I visited the Mr Kottu Maharagama branch today. I ordered a large Rice Kottu along with a Blueberry Mojito and a Green Apple Mojito. The portion size of the kottu was good; however, it was too spicy for our preference. Unfortunately, the mojitos were not up to standard and did not taste as expected they were more like fruit juice than mojitos. The flavors were quite disappointing. The service was also unsatisfactory. While we were still eating, the waiter brought the bill to our table without asking, which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Additionally, there were flies around our table, and I have attached photos regarding this issue. We have visited many other branches before and did not have this kind of experience, which makes this visit even more disappointing. Overall, I was not satisfied with the experience

Avoid this place. Not recommended. > I decided to give Mr. Kottu a try despite the negative reviews, wanting to see for myself. Unfortunately, the feedback was spot on. The washrooms were absolutely disgusting and nauseating 🤢. ​To make matters worse, the food wasn't great either—there are much better spots nearby for a good meal. I also tried the caramel pudding for dessert and was very disappointed. This was my first and definitely my last time here. If you value hygiene and quality, go elsewhere.

Hello Mr viraj. I am one of the customer of Mr. Kottu. The one day when i went to the godagama outlet I felt Mr kottu staff service is very poor and disgusting. I placed order a cheese kottu half potion. But they served full one. I said ok. I will pay for the full one. But I could be able to see the died fly on my meal. Please imagine if you are experience such situation what are those feeling through your mind. Another one is the some day when i went to the Maharagama outlet, actually that experience also can not explain in happy mood. Same situation. There are no specific place to wash hand other than wash room. So i went to the wash room. No handwash liquid and at not clean wash room. Before the luch if you are going to dirty wash room and can you take meal in happy mind. Is it not disgusting. Mr. Viraj my request is, we pay your service, meal and everything we buy. We expect the experience not much perfect at least than other all common food shops. please maintain your reputation

The cutlery was not cleaned well, flies everywhere. The atmosphere is not clean. I ordered a Sea Food Chicken Fried Rice and the taste was ok. But, fish, and all meat items were very bad looking. Not fresh. Not recommended. They do not ask even if we want a water bottle. This is the 3rd time and the same experience every time. It was disgusted when I saw the prawns and the chicken. Before 2 weeks I went to Kottawa outlet and it was disgusted. It was like a bus stand. Very un-hygenic 🤮
