As travelers from the Balkans, we were absolutely delighted to find this Croatian restaurant in Kaohsiung. We tried the sarma, stuffed peppers, sausages, and a fresh salad, finishing with a cheesecake. The food was delicious and authentic. The owners were friendly and welcoming, taking time to chat with us and share stories, which made the experience even more special. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. We left with full hearts and stomachs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Balkan flavors or looking for something special in Kaohsiung. A real culinary gem 🤩

Honestly, I am lost for words, just wow… it is truly authentic Croatian food. As someone who has lived in Asia for the past few years and struggles to find any Croatian food that has a similar taste of home, I have to say this one hits the spot. Even if it was in Croatia it would be among the better restaurants that serve traditional food from Slavonia. The filled paprika and Slavonian sausage both 10/10… I strongly recommend to anyone who is from Croatia / Balkans and misses home to go here, but also to foreigners and Taiwanese who are curious about my country’s cuisine, to go here and give it a try, I am sure it won’t let you down because this is authentic as it gets. P.S the owner and his wife are both very kind and friendly people, next time I come to Taiwan I’ll be sure to visit again, even if it means I’ll have to take the train from Taipei to get there 😅 Hvala jako puno!

The service was thoughtful and helpful with suggestions as to pairings. I am not familiar with Croatian cuisine but as a newbie I have the impression that it is quite genuine. Certainly a worthwhile restaurant to visit. They also have sausages with mashed potatoes and some Belgian and German beer if you're in the mood for that! (I will try to come back..)

It was surprisingly very delicious we had a fulfilling dinner experience. The mushroom soups was on point, reminds me of my own childhood- in a good way! We ordered sausage and pork 戰斧豬 ( which happens luckily that they have extras - usually need to preorder) . My husband and I are not meat lovers, but we enjoyed it very much. Could imagine it might be salty for some local people around here (coming out from my personal experience staying aboard ) but it was just right for both of us! Dessert was fresh and simple! Never been to Croatia yet, but makes me feel like visiting someday in the future.

Really loved the sausage plate! Great combo with the cabbage and mashed potatoes. Highly recommend. I think they prepared with black pig, the chef told me it took 2 years to get that one right. We also got the stew is made from pork/beef/lamb (I think they only serve it in weekend), really tasty, and it's different from beef bourguignon we serve in France, worth trying it. Talked briefly Friendly owner, proud of the plate he served. Will come back when in kaoshuing!

Amazing restaurant! You should definitely reserve a table in advance, there were no free tables when we visited. The food was amazing and the staff were very nice too! The taste of the food really reminded me of croatia, the menu has a lot of traditional options. If i am in the area again, i will definitely pay them another visit.
