Wondering endlessly around the city looking for somewhere to eat, then we came across this little place with not much decoration outside. We decided to give it a go, and that was the best decision on that day. The place is neat and clean, and the staff were friendly. They have a big cocktail menu with special blend of traditional Taiwan flavours. Unfortunately, I don’t drink. So unable to comment on the drinks. The food menu is simple. We ordered the Taiwanese Combo, Spanish Garlic Prawn, and the sliders. All three dishes were great and flavourful. The Taiwanese deep fried combo was nicely flavoured with pepper and not greasy at all with very nice crunchy texture. The Spanish garlic prawn was heavily seasoned with butter and garlic. There was decent amount of prawns even though they were smaller sizes. Dipping the bread to soak up all that just was sensational. Really excellent bar. The vibe is upscale but relaxed. The drinks were super unique and told an interesting story about taiwanese traditions and history/nostolgia. For instance there was an Ai Yue cocktail (an icy / gelantin dessert) that was served just like the dessert is, in a bowl with a spoon that was really delicious. Each drink also has a unique action you can take that alters the taste of the drink too. Food was also excellent. I think they are also kind of upscaled / alternative takes on traditional foods that many Taiwanese grew up with / eat casually all the time We got the chicken wings, but they also have sliders, fries, etc. The bartenders were super attentive and friendly. We got some extra shots as we were leaving as a nice gesture. Would definitely come back!!

The cocktails were incredible. They have a bunch of signature drinks, with a nice map to choose from based on how sweet-sour and strong-weak you want them. The barman was very professional, taking his time to make the cocktails (which is usually a good sign!). He was also so nice to offer us plum wine. Beware: it's quite strong!
