An absolute must visit for all seafood lovers. Bit of a trek from the city central but oh so worth it. It was so fun perusing each aisle and oohing and aahing at all the things on display. There were live tanks of the freshest seafood, ready to eat Bento, hot food, anything you can think of. We had lunch here at the sushi bar and got the Li Zhou set menu with a couple add ons. The sea urchin gunkan was packed and we immediately got another one because it was so good. The fish was fresh and hit that seafood craving. Such an amazing meal and experience here.

A must come for the kind of experience.. fresh fish market 20mins from Taipei City. The sashimi is very fresh and the king crab 🦀 legs is a must try!! Price are also reasonable. They also have those bento kind of sashimi or other Japanese food for you to buy and enjoy at the standing tables located at the exit of the building. Go for the Uni handroll.. highly recommended. The standing sushi bar has good sushi by international standards. Very fresh, served mostly pure. Got the Li Fan set plus some cut rolls and seared rolls. For the amount and quality of sushi I had, I thought 1300 Twd was a reasonable price. Criticisms: - The lack of seating for the price: whack. I stood for like 45 minutes for this meal. - Cash only Pro tips for future me when I come back: - Seared salmon nigiri was my favorite (and only 50 Twd!). I’d rather order 20 of those than the set. Affordable and fresh sushi and sashimi! This establishment consists of a standing sushi bar and ready-to-eat food. The prices of the RTE items ranges a lot with discounted items being below $100 to unagi pried at $475. There were very few options available and the racks were half empty. The standing sushi bar was a better option since we could have full set meals from $480. We chose the Li Zhou ($580) and Li Fan ($780). Both sets were overwhelmingly filling and we struggled to finish the nigiri. Next time, we’ll share one nigiri sushi and ala carte items instead.

We got the Li Tun Set and were seriously impressed by the quality. The Gillardeau oysters were super plump and fresh, and we got two kinds of sea urchins – one creamy and rich, the other subtly sweet. The tangy cod livers in vinegar were a perfect contrast, and the star was definitely the juicy Kawasaki grilled eel with that amazing smoky char. Everything was super fresh and ready to eat. It's a real treat for seafood lovers, totally worth the price! Definitely recommend it for special occasions.

If you love seafood, Addiction Aquatic Development is an absolute must-visit in Taipei. The freshness is on another level, you can literally see the live seafood tanks and market selection before your meal. Everything tastes clean, sweet, and high quality. The standing sushi bar is a fun, energetic experience. The sashimi is thick-cut (be warned, one slice is comparable to 2 slices elsewhere) and incredibly fresh, and the grilled and hot dishes are equally impressive. One surprise find is braised fish meat rice bowl. Despite how popular it is, operations are efficient and well-organised. Every staff that we interacted with took care of us. This is part seafood market, part dining destination, and it does both exceptionally well. Come hungry and be ready for a lively atmosphere.
