[Late review] Visited in Aug 2025 Dropped by Rufous Coffee during my trip to Taipei last year. Tried a couple of their Cold Drop Style coffees (Cold Drip Geisha and Cold Drip Honey Cinnamon). The beverages were good and service was too. In summary, a good coffee shop which is def worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Rufous Coffee is such a gem. I came here solo and immediately loved the warm, quiet vibe. The space is cozy and dimly lit in the best way, perfect for unwinding, reading, or just enjoying a slow coffee break. I ordered the Irish coffee and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had. Balanced, smooth, and just the right kick without being overpowering. Even though it’s a popular spot, it still feels calm and unpretentious. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, which I appreciated as someone just passing through on a solo day.

Lemon cake is delicious. I tried two types of drip coffee. Guatemalan and Colombian. Guatemala is medium light roast and it has a very light taste. Colombian is medium roast and it taste really good.

A nice little shop that serves high-quality coffee and provides a perfect atmosphere to study. We came here after lunch and found seats immediately. Almost everyone there was studying or doing some type of work so it was relatively quiet in the shop. We ordered the Cafe Latte ($170 NT), Caffe Milkshake ($220 NT), and the Lemon Pound Cake ($140 NT). All of the drinks tasted great. The pound cake was good too, just wish it was bigger for the price. Overall, would recommend coming here if you’re looking for a quiet place to study that serves great coffee. Will be back in the future.
