Loved this place. Sad I discovered on my last day. Really great food and I love how they clipped fresh herbs for the food and drink. My daughter loved the banana and chocolate waffles and I had a great veggie omelet. My daughter gave two thumbs up!
Had brunch here and it was a lovely experience. The space is full of plants, giving it a fresh, almost greenhouse-like feel. We ordered: Smoked chicken Panini Fruits panini Boned German sausage with bread &egg Latte Americano
Somebody Cafe was my favorite cafe experience while visiting Taiwan. The omelettes are delicious, the coffee was on point and the decor was welcoming with all the plants. Overall the best in Taipei

I’ve been living in Taiwan for 3 years. I’m a Southeast Asian and one thing I noticed is perhaps culturally, most people in the service industry won’t go out of their way to smile and make you feel comfortable (also perhaps because i dont have any racial privileges). They say because it isn’t necessary to smile. The job is to serve you food and most do just that. But this cafe/brunch area is a standout. They smile a lot and they make you feel comfy. I had their Set A breakfast panini with bacon and sausage and it was really good :). They ran out of eggs but they offered to give me hashbrowns instead which was really nice. Because I had to wait, they also offered me complimentary waffles. It was a nice touch. I had their iced latte too which was also good—nice balance of milk and coffee and not drowning in ice. Coffee tasted smooth as well. The place is quite small and if you’re not tall like me, the chairs might be a little too low haha! This is a really nice place to grab your co

The atmosphere is lively and filled with a mixture of locals and tourists. It was featured in a tourist pamphlet, Goodies for Foodies. The place was packed at 11 AM on a Friday. When we got to here at 10:30 AM, there were only 4 occupied tables out of 10 tables. It filled out quickly by 11. The menu is interesting. The concept is new. The taste is average. My daughter ordered a peach and strawberry soda and the peanut butter and chocolate panini set A. She did not enjoy the egg side but the panini was decent. I ordered the Rose flavored latte. It was nice. The biggest issue I have is the wait for the drinks. The food came out before the drinks. It took half an hour for the drinks to be served.

So good we came back for a second visit during trip. Tried the plate with Ham and Bacon as well as the little pizza. All the food looked and tasted fantastic. Really noticed the details that made every dish yummy 😋 Cappuccino was really well made using a smooth bean and came with honeycomb i used to sweeten it. Loved it !

Somebody Cafe is a creative hideaway above the busy streets of Ximen. The cafe feels like a calm, tiny forest, with hanging plants and hand-drawn black-and-white art covering the walls. You can enjoy good coffee and brunch here, but the real draw is the peaceful and artistic space. It’s the perfect place to relax with a coffee and take a quiet break from the city.

A very cute and cozy cafe with a nice selection of coffee drinks and teas. The drinks are made very well with lovely presentation. They also have a good selection of delicious mini pizzas and frittatas. Would highly recommend to check it out as a relaxing break for lunch in ximen!
