This is a MUST SEE and do while in Arusha! We had an amazing time learning from Baraka about all the different steps of coffee farming. People have come from all over the world to visit and it’s well deserved - buy their local coffee and honey! We made sure to bring some home with us :).
We had so much fun with Baraka - from picking the fruit to roasting and brewing the coffee, we did it all. It was so interesting to learn and the coffee was delicious (also don’t miss the lemongrass ginger tea!!). Baraka was able to help us arrange a tuktuk back to our hotel which was really nice

Whether you’re a coffee lover or not, a visit to Baraka’s is absolutely worth it. He welcomes you like family and takes the time to show you around his farm, making the entire experience feel personal and authentic. The coffee-making process is both engaging and informative, offering a great mix of hands-on fun and learning. Be sure to contact Baraka in advance to arrange your visit, as he offers several tour options to choose from. We’ll definitely be back!

Baraka Coffee Farm in Arusha was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and hospitality that it felt more like visiting family than a tour. Baraka was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, walking us through the entire coffee journey—from bean to cup—in a way that was both educational and fun. Getting to see, touch, roast, grind, and finally taste the coffee was such a special hands-on experience. The coffee itself was exceptional—rich, smooth, and full of flavor, made even better knowing the care and tradition behind every step. The singing, laughter, and sense of community made the visit come alive and left us smiling the entire time. If you’re in Arusha, Baraka Coffee Farm is an absolute must. It’s not just about coffee—it’s about culture, connection, and experiencing something truly authentic. Highly, highly recommend.

An absolute must-do experience when visiting Arusha. We very much felt like part of the Baraka family as soon as we arrived. Learning and experiencing every step of the coffee process was so much fun, with lots of dancing and singing thrown in. We are thoroughly enjoying our Baraka coffee back here in Australia.

Baraka (the owner) and all his people at the farm were the most gracious hosts when we visited them on March 10th on our drive from Tengeru (near Arusha) to Tarangire National Park, When we got there up an unpaved road just off the main highway we were greeted by Barak himself. He is a lovely man with a big smile and a bigger heart. He gave us a quick tour of his coffee plantation giving us a brief history of how he got started and then he and his staff got to work! They not only walked us through the entire process of how raw green beans are cleaned, dried, processed all the way to making coffee that we drank, but also got us all actually involved in each step with lots of singing, laughing and just plain fun! As he kept reminding us, good coffee come from a lot of caring a love of the farm, it's plants and the beans. We were expecting a very large coffee farm with automated processes to go from raw beans to roasted beans and coffee making, but Baraka showed how it was done in anci
