If I could only dine at one place in Arusha, I would not hesitate for a second before going for Cafe Gelato. Phenomenal food, generous portion. You get served with unbelievably good dishes there. The panini (I forgot whether it was called gelato melt or Arusha melt) was out of this world. Flavourful beef strips with an intense aroma of black pepper, together with gluey cheese and caramelised onion, sandwiched between two pieces of bread that are buttery and toasted to perfection. Hands down the best panini I have ever had. The stroganoff was also packed with flavour. There was a hint of sourness which made it extra appetising. Perfect with the smooth potato mash on the side. The pastas were also great and a single plate could probably feed 2 people. I would recommend the chicken mushroom pasta and pasta primavera. Staff was friendly and polite. I asked them for the recipe of stroganoff (yes it was that good) and they helped go get the chef to write it down for me. The single place

First of all the service is amazing from the staff especially John. Secondly, the food is delicious as you can see from the pictures. Their drinks are excellent as well and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a great place for lunch and dinner in Levolosi ward. However food quality has dropped significantly over the years. I no longer recommend this place.
