The meat was incredibly tender and the sauces were absolutely delicious. It has a perfect, authentic street food vibe! The staff are also very kind and polite. Just a quick tip about the bread: it doesn’t come automatically, you have to ask for it. Also, if you are dining with a group, make sure everyone requests their own piece individually; otherwise, they will only bring one for the person who asked. Highly recommended!

Food was really good. I especially enjoyed the beef mishkaki and nundu, the nundu is to die for. Also had the cocktail chicken, it was very good as well. The service was average at best, ordered the passion juice but was served mango instead; it was tasty but not what i ordered. The outside sitting was a bit off due to so much smoke coming from the barbeque. Got home smelling like mishkaki. Overall the food is really good, would recommend a try.

We had a wonderful experience at Mehboobs BBQ in Arusha! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The food portions were generous and the taste was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Couple Sinia and it was perfect — every single item from the nundu, mishkaki, seekh kabab, to the chicken was spot on in flavor and cooked to perfection. Mehboob's Barbecue is an excellent place for streetside "Indian" BBQ in Arusha. The staff were very friendly and regularly checked on us if everything was fine. We had ordered Lemon Chicken and Gajjar chicken, which were interesting adaptations of their Chicken Sekela. The lemon chicken had lemon sauce sprinkled on regular sekela, which was quite interesting. I've been used to eating lemon chicken being barbecued in its own unique yellow marinade in Dar es Salaam. The Gajjar was the sekela sprinkled with gajjar sauce (similar to whats done in Dar). Their chicken sekela is amazing, and so both the dishes were excellent. They also had delightful options for salads, including a spicy carrot salad (called 'Sambharo'). And we could go pick up whatever we wanted and however much we wanted, which was nice. We also ordered Mango Passion juice, but it was too sweet for me, but quite alright. Overall, I loved it at Mehboob's and will definitely be going back if I am in Arusha again!

The food was great and it came hot alll the way from town, mind you i live in KISONGO! The foil was dripping with sauce i was inlove with the food , especially the kababs. My only complaint is that i wish there were more kebabs in a dish. 5/5 definitely recommend. The owner is so helpful , and the whole staff makes you feel welcome.
