“Went at 10pm yesterday. Fantastic hosts and lovely desserts. I had the butterscotch cake slice and it was one of the fluffiest and lightest cakes I’ve ever had, definitely would recommend. To complement it I purchased the strawberry milkshake which was also very refreshing and delicious.”

Hug a Mug is a perfect place to visit to get some work done or have a quick meeting. The seating areas are quiet and offer good amount of privacy. The food was good and came out in good time. Kuku paka was delicious and packed a lot of flavour and just the right amount of spice. For me however, the iced Latte was the star of the day. It was well balanced and comes with sugar syrup on the side to let you have your way. Service was also good and friendly. I would recommend visiting for a glass of coffee and to try their yummy food.

Finally from Kenya stepped in to the magical Hug A Mug cafe in Dar Hugging their delicious (must have) mocha mug at Hug A Mug🥰 The ambience and the vibe is utterly magical with beautiful ancient trees 🌳 inside the cafe, felt sensations of the cooling🍃breeze over you with windchimes soothing your soundbuds💜 The staff and service was impeccable! As a vegetarian who is allergic to eggs, their menu had many options catered to my taste🫣 Their Mumbai masala grilled sandwich was incredible, reminded me of my home. My highly recommended dish is mushroom aloo masala with fragranced rice! Delicious and yummmy 🤤🤤! Treat for my tastebuds😁 As a psychologist I would highy recommend people to come to this cafe to unwind from the life stressors with good food good vibe and funtimes🧘‍♀️☺️

The interior designing details of this place are outstanding and the sitting arrangement is amazingly beautiful and comfortable for all types of meetings. Hug a Mug is actually one of my favourite Cafe's in Dar! The ambience is incredible - very green and calming! The food is top notch and the service is incredible - staff are very friendly and welcoming. What I love most about Hug a mug is that there's a real sense of community. They have monthly Quiz Nights, where people can come together, connect, and just have a great time! I also hosted a Brain Game Night, which was very successful and there was a huge turnout. The owner, Hanif, is extremely welcoming and very open to new ideas regarding how the space can be used. Overall, it's an incredible place and most definitely the BEST cafe in Dar!!! :)

Great atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating space with lots of greenery. The wait staff are very nice. There were minor issues that added up to a less-than-could've-been experience - the waiter's tablet didn't match the menu on more than one item. Had the signature breakfast and the food was pretty cold by the time it came to the table.
