Excellent place to experience the authentic Zanzibari hospitality. They serve Zanzibari savoury and sweet bites and snacks. The juice bar also has refreshing drinks made from fresh fruits. The live music is 👌 Perfect for afternoon tea. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience the real Zanzibar!

I’ve been here a couple of times but even though the service is super slow , I never minded before because the food was worth it, and there’s usually one waiter who always gives good customer service. HOWEVER, yesterday was the last straw for me - so a friend of mine came to Zanzibar and she always talked about how she wanted to visit Zamani cafe because she liked their vibes, later in the evening, we visited the cafe and it was packed but the service was not only slow but terrible as well. The waiters and the lady who stays at the counter would ignore us and turn all their attention to a certain Zanzibari influencer who was present at the time, when we call them, they would express annoyance in their faces..we even had to beg for a menu..while we notice them running up and down for that influencer lady…We were so disappointed and decided to leave and go to another place where we would also be valued as customers despite not being famous and having connections with the owner…do better!

First time i went i was told to wait 1.5hour for a small sinia, the next time i went i ordered in advance and still couldn’t get all the food i ordered it took over 2 hours- The food Is amazing very fresh and tasty but the service disappoints
