I recently ate at Suanthip twice, and that probably says it all. The curry with cassia leaves and the pomelo salad were my highlights, although every dish I tried was cooked perfectly. What I loved most was that the flavors felt unique and different from what I had been eating around Bangkok. The setting is just as special as the food. The beautiful gardens, traditional wooden house, and peaceful atmosphere make the whole experience feel like a little paradise. A place that is worth visiting not only for the food, but for the setting and overall experience as well.

Finally visited Suan Thip for a special occasion, and it was my first time dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant. An unforgettable experience. We went before sunset, which I would highly recommend, and sat outside in the garden area. The setting is truly beautiful: lush gardens, elegant decor, and a peaceful riverside atmosphere that feels very special and memorable. The food was absolutely incredible! Mouth-watering, deeply flavourful, and beautifully prepared. What really surprised me was the value: the prices are very reasonable for a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the portions are generous, easily enough to share between 3 or even 4 people. Outstanding quality for the price. A small thing to be aware of if you sit outside: you’re very much in nature, so be prepared for mosquitoes and the occasional wildlife encounter. We did have a moment where we asked to move tables, and although there was a slight language barrier, the staff handled it kindly and accommodated us regardless

Reserved supper here on a Wednesday night, the driver wasn't sure they were in the right area, but we kept going and glad we did. The seating outside was great, thankfully it wasn't too warm, but they put a fan out for us and made sure that it didn't adversely affect the mood. We had a dumpling wrap appetizer, the traditional curry plate with pork, and a beef curry roti. They were all really tasty and well presented. I also had the mango shake which had rich mango flavour. For dessert we had the coconut ice cream which was tasty and the fried bananas which were good, but I think I've had too many really good flavoured fried bananas and these were much more bland. The service was top notch. The waiters kept making sure that things tasted good and that we didn't need anything else. They waiter even followed us out to make sure that the ride calling app found us ok.

An unforgettable experience in a beautiful estate setting by the river. This restaurant is located 30 minutes outside of Bangkok but should be on everyone’s list to visit. Fantastic royal thai cuisine with ultra-local and seasonal ingredients, cooked to perfection - hence the Michelin Star. The setting is more beautiful than you can imagine. The old wooden house blends into the manicured gardens, and seating by the river gives for memorable evenings.

This place is the outstanding authentic Thai restaurant. All the curry has the right flavor. What makes them stand out was the complexity of layers in the flavor. For example, the “Chu Chee” ,which will normally have the richness from coconut milk, the balance of sweet, ness and saltines and a bit of spiciness but no direct sour flavor, has the refreshing flavor afte with a tinge of sourness from the lemongrass which is one of the ingredients of “Chu Chee” curry paste. This is the example of how the master level different from the mediocre one. All other dishes were at the same standard but the one I mentioned above is just the most distinct example. The staffs were very attentive. They are happy to describe the dishes. The atmosphere was superb. I would recommend going there at 5pm and watch the sunset at the table that is on the side of the river. The staff

The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the staff provide attentive service. However, the food itself was quite underwhelming. As a Thai, the flavors were just on the average and felt similar to ordinary Thai dishes you can find elsewhere, while the prices are significantly above the average. I was expecting something more distinctive given the reputation and pricing. I was also disappointed with the ingredients. Some items did not seem particularly fresh, which was surprising for a restaurant at this price level. Even the sliced pork in one of the dishes was difficult to cut and chew, suggesting it may not have been prepared properly. I also was charged overprice with confusing explanation from the staff.

I went to Suan Thip (Michelin-recommended) before heading back to Australia, and omg it was amazing. The place is super peaceful and full of greenery — such a perfect vibe. The food had that real, authentic Thai taste you can’t find anywhere else. Every dish was so flavourful and beautifully done. I was seriously impressed. Definitely going back next time I’m home. Highly recommend! 🌿✨

A Serene Michelin-Starred Thai Escape in Nonthaburi Walking into Suanthip feels like stepping into a quiet riverside garden where time slows down. The leafy grounds, wooden pavilions, and gentle river breeze set the mood long before the first bite arrives. Staff greet you with warm smiles and a refreshing lemongrass drink, and that friendly welcome stays with you through the whole meal. What Stood Out: • Authentic, carefully preserved recipes. Dishes draw from royal and regional Thai traditions, prepared with obvious respect for technique and history. • Beautiful presentation. Each plate and woven tray is arranged with care—fresh herbs, colorful garnishes, and small side condiments that invite you to taste and explore. • Balanced, bold flavors. Expect a full spectrum: bitter notes from local greens, creamy coconut, bright citrus, and concentrated spice from traditional pastes. Must-Try Dishes: • Grilled Shrimp with Neem and Sweet Fish Sauce — smoky, slightly bitter from the neem, an
