I’ve been here 3 or 4 times already and somehow I keep coming back. The cocktails are always amazing, but what really stands out is how creative the bartenders are. I’ve asked them to make drinks inspired by specific cakes and teas before, and they somehow nail it every time. The prices aren’t cheap, but considering the location, service, and quality, I think it’s worth it. It’s one of my favorite places to catch up with friends, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. ❤️

One of the best experiences of our Bangkok trip. Kodo is located on the third floor of a Japanese restaurant (go in and just head all the way up), and it is an ambient space for serious cocktail lovers. The menu is Japanese inspired, with concoctions taking influences from various provinces in Japan. The real highlight is the creativity and skill of Kodo’s bartenders. Out of the many cocktails we ordered, only one was from the menu. The rest were creative, spontaneous creations from the Kodo team based on what we were feeling in the moment — and they taste amazing! Give Kodo a try when you’re in Banthat Thong and you won’t be disappointed!

I've been to almost all of the “50 best bars in Asia” listed in Thailand. This bar isn't on that list, but for me, it's the best bar in Bangkok so far. The bartender asks you about your taste and creates a unique cocktail just for you based on your preference. The bartender is creative, and the cocktails are really good. It would be great if they took this experience to a premium level by offering à la carte cocktail cards for customers to determine the sweetness, bitterness, sourness, and alcohol levels, and the bar would become even more popular.

If you know what kind of flavors you like, just tell the bartender and they’ll create a custom drink for you—even if it’s not on the menu. It tastes absolutely amazing. The price is also very reasonable, and the atmosphere is super comfortable. They play chill hits style music, which makes the whole experience even more relaxing.
