Totally love this place. I used to pass by all the time thinking, ‘eh, just an overpriced Farang spot’ — until I finally walked in one day. WOW. This place is absolutely amazing. Great breakfast, creative wonderful sandwiches, great coffee, and great service. And the price? Totally reasonable. I love this place 💖💖💖

Such a great experience! From the minute we walked in, the staff was attentive and welcoming. They gave us menus and allowed us to choose our seats. I put my bag on the table and unprompted they came over and moved another chair closer for me to place it on to give us more room. The food was really delicious, so many great options to choose from. We selected the strawberry daiquiri and a few juices. Fresh, filling, and beautiful presentation! Before we left we grabbed a “forget me not” and a latte. The shot was very healthy but not something I would enjoy, very earthy and strong broccoli flavor. They don’t add any sugar. Great immune boost but not a fun drink. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I had a fantastic sourdough sandwich and will definitely be coming back for more. I ordered the grilled tuna melt, and it was spot on—perfectly done. The coconut latte was decent, though not as memorable. Even though the place was quite busy, the service was quick and efficient. I’ll definitely return and would recommend giving it a try! The coffee is delicious, and the staff are attentive and provide great service. The only downside is that there’s no parking available.

I had a really great experience at Bartels Sukhumvit. The staff are polite, professional, and speak excellent English, which makes everything smooth and welcoming. The food was tasty and arrived quickly, and you can tell there’s real attention to quality, especially the well-executed sourdough bread. What stood out to me is how family-friendly the place is. There’s a play area for kids, and they provide children’s cutlery, which shows thoughtful attention to families. The atmosphere is cute, relaxing, and perfect if you want to get some work done the WiFi is strong and reliable. I also loved the vibe: the lo-fi playlist is trendy but not overpowering, so it really adds to the experience without distracting. A small but memorable detail they use real chocolate coins for the hot chocolate, which I genuinely enjoyed. The only downside is that there’s just one toilet available, which can be a bit limiting. Overall, it’s a lovely café where taste and trend meet. Definitely a spot I’d come

We used to like this restaurant but it had changed since last time I was there. First you need to find a place to sit because nobody can assist you to get a table, later nobody comes to take your order... so you need to scan a qr code to see the menu and make your order online and pay in advance, later someone come with your order and for that they charge additional 10% service. Plus if you have any issue with your sandwich it is super difficult to get a waiter to help you since they are busy talking to each other... the atmosphere is nice decorated however the noise and dogs allowed make it unconfortable to relax and enjoy our meal. At least the sandwich was ok.

A lovely restaurant with great coffee, juices, pastries and sandwiches. We had a great lunch here but it's also a wonderful breakfast place too. The menu is varied and the food delicious. We had the French onion sandwich and Brucshetta. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you see a lot of people just hanging out socially or busy working away quietly. It can get busy so just enjoy the atmosphere as you wait for your food and enjoy the company of your friends/ laptop or book.

We went to Bartels different location many times. Today first time visited this location. The staff there are not friendly at all and without experience or training. Cashier lady faces not nice. I don’t understand what she said in the beginning, she said salt and pepper with Thai accent. After she said again she gave me flat face. The staff I told her to take away some plates as the table is super tiny. And turned to eyes To the ceiling. I was with my kid. So what is service?

What a way to end my Bangkok trip. This place makes me want to come back to Bangkok again just for these awesome coffee shops. Got a sourdough tuna melt, a tiramisu coffee and a latte but then also saw their juices and couldn’t resist ordering a kale pineapple juice. Looked really good and tasted even better.
