“Cozy restaurant with a lot of options on the menu for a decent price. The green curry with roti was a nice change from the rice version. Decent size, tender chicken and great curry.”

Jaktat J.★★★★★A classic Thai restaurant that has been open for 57 years, offering some traditional Thai dishes that are quite hard to find nowadays. Everything we tried was delicious. The flavors lean slightly sweet in a traditional old-style Thai way, but it’s genuinely tasty. It’s one of the few places where my parents still enjoy eating. Moo Satay – rich, aromatic, and full of spices Khanom Jeen Nam Ya – very flavorful and intense Pad Thai – a bit on the sweet side Baked butter garlic clams with bread – also very good Another highly recommended dish is Khao Chae and desert called Khao Mao, so delicious Service is good and efficient. The downside is limited parking; you may need to park at the hospital across the street. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected for the Sukhumvit area.
Kiara Pipino★★★★★I was strongly recommended to try this restaurant from Thai colleagues. They told me it is a legendary place, only serving original Thai recipes. I had Khao Chae, the garlic butter clams and a curry noodle soup. The kind server warned me it was a lot of food, but I told her….. trust me! Sure enough I finished it all. It was very good. People say prices are high, but I think that for the quality it is the right price. I would definitely recommend it and will go back.
veeraphong jiraphanphong★★★★★Lai Rot "หลายรส" is a local restaurant serving delicious made-to-order Thai dishes at very affordable prices. Conveniently located directly opposite Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, it is a great spot for anyone looking for tasty, satisfying meals without spending much. The food is flavorful, freshly prepared, and consistently enjoyable.
Itt Pamarapa★★★★★Lai Rot, located opposite Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital on Sukhumvit 49 Road, was a legendary Thai restaurant having been in business since 1969. It offered authentic Thai dishes with its original recipes created by Grandmother Urai who had grown up in Wang Deang, one of Royal Prince’s palaces. Thought out the years, its dishes had been cooked and served the very same way as the grandmother did. Its recommended menus were Khao Chae (Royal Thai Style Summer Rice), Crispy Noodles with Sweet Sauce, Deep Fried Spring Rolls, Beef Green Curry with Roti, Spicy Stir-fried Crispy Chicken and Chinese Cabbages in Crab Meat Gravy. Amazingly, its staff extending services in Thai manner were so polite and attentive. The were all dressing in Thai style outfits. It was one of a must-try restaurants when ones wanted to have authentic Thai foods at reasonable prices.

Niki Thongborisute★★★★★Cute little old mom and pop type eatery that’s stood the test of time . Don’t turn this into another Starbucks please . The menu is traditional Thai and Chinese food And no silly prices !!! Booth seating Lovely owner and sweet waitresses in old costumes just like I remember from my childhood. Delicious dishes and calm atmosphere like I went back to 1982 Please don’t change !!!!
Sumol★★★★This Thai restaurant, located in the Sukhumvit area, has been around for quite a while. It offers a wide variety of Thai dishes, including royal Thai cuisine, various curries, chili paste dips, and stir-fried vegetables. The menu also features pineapple fried rice, American fried rice, stir-fried noodles with gravy (rad na), pad thai, pad krapow, and pork satay, as well as Northern Thai dishes like khao soi. The selection is incredibly diverse, with both single-plate meals and dishes meant for sharing with family.
Y Lee★★★★★What a legendary Thai restaurant! I grew up eating here from time to time and I have recently come here more often because it’s just so irresistible. The taste is so fine yet complex. Everything is delicious. I have a few favs but I want to definitely try everything on the menu here one day if possible. I cannot recommend it enough. The interior is super cute. It is always clean and filled with natural light. The toilets are available and clean. The staff are kind and friendly. The price and portion is reasonable considering the significant inflation we are facing. They do offer deliveries and the food is well packed. Definitely a must try when you are in the area! Parking is not great. Try parking at Samitivej hospital across the street.
