An unassuming place, which I like, a bit of a pub style. That being said, excellent cocktails and food. Some of the best I've had in Aberdeen. Good deals as well, like their midweek Margarita club at £7. And their Sunday roast, 2 + a bottle of red for £45, is a solid value. The staff is helpful with suggestions and lovely. Visiting from Texas, the Scottish mussels were great as well as the lentil soup and the garlic mushroom creme fresh on sourdough. Only caveat is that the kitchen closes at 9pm. But that's pretty normal for the area. Also, great music and atmosphere. Most people that came in

Booked really late in the day but managed to give us a table. I got the haddock and my husband the fajita. Both loved out meals. Fish was fresh and the home made chips were just delish. My husband had the fajita we're they best he had had. So that's a compliment 😉 Loved his double Decker cheese cake too. Staff were also lovely. A cozy, romantic little restaurant for a nice date night with my husband

My sister and I arrived without booking for lunch before going to the theatre. Despite being busy, we got a table immediately and were assured we would have plenty of time before the theatre - and we did. We both ordered fish and chips which were delicious. Service was quick and attentive and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely return next time we visit Aberdeen

Lovely service. However the roast is below average, pork was dry, roast potatoes and vegetables soft and wet, gravy consistency of water and yorkshire burnt black. Half of our table had the roast and all had the same issues, the others had from the main menu which seemed to be considerably better apart from the corner of black mouldy lettuce in the burger.
