Absolutely shocking experience today at Costa Abingdon. My 11-year-old daughter became trapped inside the toilet when the lock failed and the door would not open. She called me by video from inside, frightened and unable to get out. I immediately asked staff for help. Manager George came to assist. The door could not be opened at first, and throughout the situation he appeared visibly angry and irritated. After eventually opening the door, he realised that my daughter had entered the toilet without a recent purchase and immediately reacted in a hostile manner, angrily stating that the toilet

Closed early and turned me away! I arrived 3 minutes before closing on Sunday but the manageress said she had already shut down the till and coffee machine. I explained I was only after a single takeaway coffee and showed her there was still time (16:57 on Sunday) but she just shrugged and gave no explanation for closing early. The place was already empty and they had clearly been closed for a while; the outdoor furniture was all piled up inside the doorway. A nice a great place for coffee lovers with great n quick services. Location is perfect in corner giving hall n street view . Apart from great coffee do try these cheese n tomato sandwich. Recommended!!
