Food: For the first time trying Somali food. I was pretty impressed with it! The vegan samosa were a great starter with a great bite and filling to them with some really nice complementary sauces. The lamb which is their trademark dish is also a big plus as well, as it was tender and flavourful but got a bit tougher when colder. My friend loved his vegan dish as well and we had a lovely experience with it. Service: For a super busy service, still really good. Sabiib was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding and the service from Sundus was genuinely warm and welcoming. She made us feel looked after without it ever feeling forced. We had the platter for two and it was superb. The meat was exceptional, beautifully tender and full of flavour. Every element on the platter impressed us. The hummus was smooth and rich, the oodkac packed with flavour, the meat sambus crisp and satisfying, the bajiyo light and well seasoned, and the bariis isku karis absolutely spot on. Amazing Somali Food and Atmosphere I had another great experience at Sabiib in Acton and, as always, it did not disappoint. The Somali food was excellent, full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented, and the desserts were just as good. Fatima served me during my visit and provided excellent customer service throughout. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. An absolute delight, we have been here twice in the last few months and really enjoyed it. The service is always kind and considerate, and the food is just incredible. We had never tried Somali food before coming here, and honestly there's nothing we didn't like. If you're stuck, go for a platter (the best of everything!) and the sticky date pudding at the end. The salmon was lovely too and they serve a very generous portion, if you prefer seafood. Highly recommended.
