Visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my husband and the food was gorgeous. I only had the chicken liver pate but the bread was so soft and fresh and the pate had such a gorgeous texture. My husband had the featherblade of beef and was raving over how good it was. I took my mum and nan there yesterday because of how good the food was and once again we weren't disappointed. From the food to the warm and welcoming service I can definitely see this becoming somewhere we come regularly. I went to this pub, but when I was away on a business course and it was a great recommendation from my Airbnb host. The staff here was so welcoming and so friendly I could not recommend them enough. The customer service was 10 out of 10! The beef burger was a little greasy however, the chicken burger was amazing, super tasty and a big portion. I love the fact it’s dog friendly. Highly recommend and I would return 100%.

I’m actually quite taken back at the absolute next level food we had at the fox on our latest visit . We had a lovely birthday meal for my partner , who is quite in to cooking himself so he is hard to impress . What a do mostly like about the fox is the service , it’s different when you go to such a nice place and the team are actually over the moon that you are in there , I don’t feel like I get this impression from many other places . This place is absolutely off the scale excellent in every way
