This place has the most amazing battered chips! I’ve been in the industry for years and this is a proper chippy! It’s a beautiful shop and the standard of frying is up there with the best. Chips were delicious 😋

Visiting this establishment for lunch is so good. The chips are the nice chunky ones I like and I end up eating the lot. Not like some places that chuck loads of small pieces in that get to hard to eat. The batter on the fish is great and not greasy at all. It always tastes fresh and although it's not diet food, I don't feel guilty for popping in here to get some food. The prices are also very reasonable and all this definitely makes this the best chippy to visit this side of town. I normally get a small fish and chips with a can of drink. Perfect lunch that won't leave you hungry or robbe

Ordered large fish and chips of uber eats and received 2 small ones. They were so small , soggy and stuck to the paper . Also the Donor kebab felt like plastic it was rock solid . Disappointed as the prices are high you would expect quality food

Used to be a nice place. Now they give you less and less meat(doner) for the same price. Also don't go in the morning or you will be eating the meat from yesterday. The only thing worth it for me there, now, is the puka pie. Everything else has gone downhill. As you see in the picture, this is meat worth £7.80. It's barely half the tray. Used to be full tray.
