Had my small registry office reception here with 12 people. It was a very hot day and Sophie was amazing, moving our table to a cooler area, keeping the cake in the fridge, amazing food which surpassed our expectations and such a nice atmosphere. The pub is also beautiful inside and outside and very accessible, we had a pram with us. 10/10 recommend, we will be back!! - thank you

Absolutely wonderful afternoon lunch spent in the “Secret Garden” of The Avalon yesterday afternoon. The garden was so peaceful and relaxing. You would never know you were in London! It was a really hot and sunny day but there were plenty of shady spots if you wanted to avoid the sun. The table service was spot on - very polite and helpful waiter who paid us just the right amount of attention, without bothering/ fussing. The food is absolutely delicious! On Saturday we had our engagement party at The Avalon in The Courtyard and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The whole day went perfectly, we were beyond happy with the food, service and how looked after we felt. The weather was warm and sunny and earlier in the day it was really easy for us to pop out to the garden to enjoy that sun but have a private base as The Courtyard for the party. A few weeks ago I attended this pub for the first time, and it was quite packed, but the staff was nice and the food was good. I did see an interaction with an entitled girl having a hissy fit and a bouncer asking her nicely to take it inside because she was being loud and causing a disturbance, but she sulked and cried because she wasnt getting the reaction she wanted. She was escorted off the premises and everyone cheered. Nice night.
