Lovely local spot! Excellent fish done in a crispy batter that is thin and flaky, minimal oil residue as they let it rest before packaging up. The chips are okay, nothing to write home about. Service is kind and efficient. I’d say this is the best spot at Barry Island for fish and chips, I did a walk around and for quality to quantity it hits the mark. There’s also shady outdoor seating under some umbrellas for customers too.

Probably the best option at Barry Island. From Fish and chips to Burgers to Wraps..decent amount of options available. If you are looking for halal food, the best option. The location is perfect as well. During weekends in summer, you have to stand in the queue to order. Table and chairs placed outside to eat outside the shop..

I went to Barry Island today and came across this lovely chip shop. It's soo nice to come across a clean efficient establishment that's HALAL. The server was so friendly and polite and informative. I ordered a medium fish and chips and the food did not disappoint. After a very long time have I come across a fish that's actually fresh cod and a good fillet with less batter, non- greasy and crispy. The chips were crispy and non-greasy too and not too many that you feel sick. The takeaway was clean and they had different seats which I liked as I cant get on the tall stools. They had comfy lower
