Booked part of the bar area for a smallish birthday party. Ellie (Manager) was a delight to work with from start to finish, helping with decorations, music playlist, surprise cake etc - nothing was too much trouble. Had charcuterie boards which went down VERY well with the guests and were delicious. Speedy cocktail service throughout the evening, despite being really quite busy with another larger party at the same time. All bar staff were super polite and professional. Their signature cocktails (Passionate Duck and Ducking Good Time) are both delicious! I would highly recommend The Duck & Tip

Very friendly staff making you fell welcomed. The burgers are delicious, I had the Mr Blue chicken burger which was delicious. My wife had the Deep South chicken burger YUMMY!. They sell a really nice cider called “Red Fin” which is a traditional West Country cider with a nice medium crisp. They have board games too so if you want to come for a casual drink with friends and want to play a game or even table tennis you can 😀 This is my second visit and will be back again 😀😀😀

Fantastic little boozer hidden in an alleyway on the high street of Basingstoke, great beer selection and friendly, enthusiastic staff. Sadly even with just a few groups of people and nothing to absorb the noise my friend and I had to shout in each others ear to hear each other, eventually we had to leave because we were giving eachother headaches. Another pub had 10x the people and live music and it wasn't as loud! Put some carpet down and this is easily the best place in Basingstoke.
