A wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food in a very Bath setting with great service. We weren't very hungry, so we decided to share the black bean burger, which was fantastic!! The size is definitely generous and clearly "homemade" (vs. a frozen patty from a factory), and what a great recipe they have! Yummmmmm We got mashed potatoes instead of fries and they were also perfect. Our server was truly lovely. She chatted a bit, and made sure we had what needed. Friendly and welcoming. Fully recommended!! 🤩😋

Visited for a pre-theatre dinner which my husband and I both enjoyed very much. Pre-theatre dinners are served in a seperate, cosy room. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly and our food arrived in a very timely, though not rushed, fashion. This was super as we needed to be in the theatre for a certain time. All the food is home made and of very high quality. Absolutely delicious. The only, very minor thing, which is down to my husband's taste was that his steak and ale pie contained pulled beef, which he wasn't expecting. Simply the best steak pie and mash you’ll ever eat! Great old pub, right next to the theatre. Recommend the Garrick Ale too. Very friendly staff, couldn’t fault the 5 star service. Highly recommended.
