I went for a mix of starters and sides, instead of a main course, and it was a great decision. One of the nicest meals I’ve ever had. The setting was gorgeous - rustic, lovely lighting, dried flowers everywhere. The owner was very welcoming and recommended us a mocktail. And then the food…. We had a truly exceptional dining exeperience. It was our anniversary dinner, my husband requested we have a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival which was very kindly prepared for us. The occassion was acknowledged throughout our meal, with a “happy anniversary” message on our dessert plates. Such a lovely touch. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowleadgeble, we felt very well looked after. We started with the selection of breads with soft basil butter.
