What a place! Right by the main bridge and a great river view, its already in a good place to be an excellent restaurant. The staff were amazing and the gentleman that served us recounted stories of his island home back in Italy. They'll probably know who we were as out of the seven of us that visited, six of us ordered the lasagne! And hand on heart, that was the best lasagne I have ever had. We chose to go here last minute for lunch and we had the best time. They recommended that we sat upstairs on the balcony and we were very happy with the recommendation. Tommy was our wonderful waiter and he was extremely friendly and lovely to talk to. If I had a restaurant I would definitely want to hire him!!! All of the staff seemed to also have a lovely manor about them. The seafood here so yummy and the carbonara was delightful!! Couldn’t recommend enough to be honest!!! Thanks again.

Tucked away, under the Puteney bridge (just follow the signs down the stairs, around the building, and into the lower park). Enter through the lower bar to reach the dining room is upstairs. This is a lovely large room with views to the park and the open restaurant kitchen. We shared a bowl of mussels in a mild broth which we wished had more garlic and butter. Followed by a well composed lasagna of which they are rightfully proud. We finished with a basil-infused panna cotta pudding and also whipped cream with ground pistachio. We booked a table of 5 for lunch on a Saturday for our Mum's 85th Birthday. The venue is in a lovely location overlooking the river. There was a warm welcome and the service was excellent throughout our visit. It was busy but not overwhelming and the food came very quickly. The food was incredible, we all ordered different things and every single course was well cooked and beautifully presented. It's not cheap but I'd highly recommend it.
