I really , really loved this restaurant. It was risky because my wife and I have never been to a Moroccan restaurant- although I lead a medical mission there in 2002, and I loved the culture. When we walked in , the atmosphere gripped us as we were able to appreciate some of the quintessential Moroccan cultural symbols around the restaurant. This is truly an authentic Moroccan restaurant owned by an ethnic Moroccan, who I was told was the cook that day Music was Moroccan and it was upbeat at just the right volume. We had such a lovely experience at Tagine Zhor. Mostafa, the owner, was incredibly warm and hospitable from the moment we arrived. He truly went above and beyond helping us explore the extensive menu and making thoughtful recommendations throughout the evening. One of the most delicious food I've had!! We got the chicken and lamb tagines, selection 5 filo pastries and ended with Moroccan mint tea and baklava. The flavours were well spiced, juicy and just beautiful. Customer service was lovely. Worth a visit!

There are so many great places to eat in Bath, so discovering this unassuming spot near the river felt like a real find. The standard of food was excellent, and the whole place had a warm, friendly atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. We had the lamb tagines, which were absolutely delicious. It was also my first time trying prunes and they added a really authentic and surprisingly sweet & tasty touch. Definitely somewhere I’d love to return to and I’ll happily recommend it to others.
