We had some lovely food and a couple of drinks here on a Sunday evening. The venue has a nice outdoor seating area with a relaxing water feature so we sat outside. There are plenty of TVs dotted around the place showing sports. The food and drinks were very reasonable. Staff were friendly and great service. Highly recommended.

I had dinner here on Tuesday, December 2nd, and really enjoyed the experience. I tried one of their seasonal specials, the pulled turkey, which was very tasty and perfectly cooked. I paired it with a fruity IPA that complemented it really well. The pub has a cosy atmosphere, friendly service, and the food arrived quickly. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m in Bedford.

Sunday evening meal of 24 chicken wings with sauce then main of fish & chips with curry sauce and steak and ale pie. Stuffed. All freshly cooked so served hot. Excellent friendly service. Can't fault it for a Greens King chain that turns out hearty pub grub.

We visited the pub yesterday with our kids and had an amazing time. The food and soft drinks were absolutely tasty. The kids were really comfortable throughout. We were told by the kind staff that there was a small pond in the garden which had fish and the kids had a nice time checking it out. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. The service was top-notch without any undue delays. (One tiny qualm is that the brownie was a bit harder after sometime. But the starters and mains were delicious) Definitely going back there sometime soon for the food, ambience and kind service.
