6 of us booked for “Christmas dinner” we were all very disappointed with it all, definitely won’t be returning! The dinner it self were your midweek cheap carvery, with smash potato, frozen roast potatoes and veg! No Christmas day extras to make it feel less basic. The starters came out nearly 1 hour after we were seated, the mozzarella bon bon were burnt and stale like it had been left on a hot plate all day! When I mentioned this to the staff member when she came to clear the plates from the table she said she would mention it to the kitchen but no apology or acknowledgement came back we we

Booked a family party with carvery lunch for over 60 people. Manager was amazing and staff all courteous and helpful. Really good value. Everyone enjoyed it. The garden space was perfect for the children to play outside in the lovely weather. Would highly recommend as a great family party venue.

Just spent the best part of £40 on the worst meal we have ever had. Sirloin steak was like a used car tyre. The gammon was like a frisbee and the chips were like pieces of used timber. The waitress that served us needs to learn customer service as she threw our food on the table and walked off without saying anything. No one came to see us either about our food. Not really a good pub. Better food at wether spoons. . We will not be visiting this pub again.
