First time here this evening and I have to say what an absolute hidden gem! Doesn't look like too much from the outside but the food and service was incredible. The king prawns were the nicest starter I've had in a long time and the mushroom and vegetable risotto was perfect. There were 10 of us in total and all meals were thoroughly enjoyed. The Lantern in Belfast is absolutely amazing from the atmosphere and staff to the food. We had the bass, pork belly, and sticky toffee pudding and loved every single part of the meal (the sticky toffee pudding was so good, we got 2). If you come to Belfast, this place is a must-try!

Tourist trap. The starters and the mains are nothing to be excited over . Got the chili squid and chicken and salmon dish. All were just so so. Really bland . Even the bread and chips were just basic. I thought the deserts would be great but the lemon poset and apple crumble were bad. It was applesauce w some brown sugar. Highly disappointed and not cheap
