The Old White Bear is a lovely, charming and welcoming local pub situated on a side-street in Hampstead. The staff were warm and friendly. I only had one pint (Sussex Best), but it was very well served and reasonably priced too. I also had the sausage & mash which was lovely, bursting with flavour due to good quality sausages and a nice, rich gravy. I visited The Old White Bear on 08.04.2026.

Enjoyed the generous portion of their Sunday roast. The triple cooked chips were also well done well - crispy on the outside, soft inside. Friendly and attentive waitresses. Forgot to take a picture of dessert, but their sticky date and rhubarb custard tart were delicious! All in a relaxed pub setting.
