I don't Review restaurants often at all. This The Cross Keys was a very pleasant surprise. We needed a late dinner. This hit the spot all the food and desserts tasted great. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the prices were among the best value we've had so far on our trip to the UK from the USA.

Visited on Wednesday for an early lunch and really enjoyed it. Easily my favourite in East Yorkshire so far. Multiple rooms, well presented and festive. You can choose your room to eat in based upon taste, ranging from quaint at the front, to modern by the bar. We were sat by the fire in armchairs, and it was good to keep placing logs on the fire. Really pleased with the service and the food was decent too. Had the 'Chicken, Stuffing, Bacon + Cranberry Panini' together with a 'Big Cheese Pizza'. Would certainly recommend a visit for an early lunch, as it wasn't too busy.
