Stumbled upon this little gem. Had one table for two left, turned out to be a carvery, one of the best roasts I’ve had. Had a lovely warm and inviting atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Staff are a 10/10 and compliments to the chef’s. My wife loved the porn star martini 🍸

Superb first visit to The Bistro - Joe, our server was really hospitable and gave fantastic service! Really loved the warm welcome from all the staff, but Leanne was incredibly friendly. Food (carvery) was excellent - piping hot, well cooked, and there was plenty of it!

I came here a few weeks ago on a Sunday. Only to have a drink. Made staff aware we would be outside, and we were told they would be out to take our order. Completely empty outside apart from us. We waited over 20 minutes and no one had appeared. Went inside to order drinks in the end at the bar. Even then another 10 minute wait! Cocktail was lovely when I did get it, but way too long to wait for drinks, especially when not a busy day.

Went with my elderly mother for a carvery lunch. The staff were absolutely wonderful, really lovely and so helpful. Food was great, big shout out to the guy serving at the carvery! Nut roast for the vegans (there is another option too). Decent chairs, glasses etc a great experience overall. Keep up the good work guys, we'll be back!
