Delicious food at Itihass restaurant in the heart of Birmingham. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in an old colonial style. Tables on two floors of this restaurant located on the canal side. An imaginative cocktail menu. We chose a Mumbai mojito and an Itihass Clover Club, both were very good. The menu offers a range of meat, fish and vegetable mains. We chose some unusual starters, okra bites and Spiced Beetroot Tikki ( from the street food menu). Both were delicious. For the mains we had a chicken dish, chickpea dish, rice and roti. Visited Ithihaas with my husband and had a great experience. The interiors are absolutely gorgeous, with a vintage, royal vibe that beautifully reflects Indian heritage—every corner is stunning. The food was amazing, especially the appetisers, which we really enjoyed. We both ordered the Bollywood Dream drink and it was delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness from the fresh strawberries.
