I went with my friend and ordered the platter for two, one coffee and one tea with milk, it's definitely worth the price. The staff were friendly and helpful when we were choosing from the menu. The private area was great and had plenty of room. The overall atmosphere was good and there was moderate chatter which is to be expected. I enjoyed it very much and I definitely will be coming back here soon.

Salama Restaurant (Somali & Yemeni) – Coventry Road I visited Salama one evening and overall had a really good experience. I ordered a large platter with rice, meat (I’m not 100% sure whether it was lamb or beef), soup, and vegetables. Everything was genuinely tasty and well cooked. The portion sizes are very generous. I’m quite disappointed with my recent visit. Firstly, the staff were speaking very loudly, showing little respect or consideration for customers in the restaurant. It didn’t feel like a welcoming environment. At one point, a staff member was brushing the mats right in front of me, with dust flying around, which was very unpleasant while dining.
