Having looked forward to visiting for a while we were really disappointed with our visit. We visited for the Korean menu. Most dishes needed more flavour and some seasoning. Definitely style over substance. The fish dish was served really undercooked. Offered to replace, but the next course was on the way. The only dish we really enjoyed was the broth with a dumpling although the crispy noodles could have been missed off and did not add anything. We visited for our anniversary and were welcomed warmly by Chely as our server for the evening. She was very warm and friendly, complemented my outfit and brought us a prosecco on the house which made us feel really special. She explained every dish, cocktail and wine pairing well. We had a fantastic meal at Six by Nico on the Childhood menu. Our favourites were the sausage and mash and the chicken nuggets – both were delicious and brought back great memories. A special mention to our server, Shakira, who was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We visited Six by Nico Birmingham for our anniversary meal and had a brilliant evening from start to finish. The staff made it feel special straight away with a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch and set the tone nicely.
