Awesome place. Great music with top musicians. The bar staff is lovely makes everyone feel welcome. Decent prices on drinks. Plus an excellent smoking area that is different to most bars. Free live music on Monday Thursday Friday not sure about Saturday haven't been yet. But some of the best live bands in Birmingham. Also salt of the earth people who will have a conversation with you and ask you how your day is going...which is lovely. Haven't tried the food so don't know.

Gutted went to try them for the first time ordered a meat platter they didn't tell me they didn't have it so just put cooked meat on a platter the bread burnt, when I was offered a refund I was charged again - a lot of fumbling and disappointment. No one minds mistakes and things run out but talk to your customers tell them you've charged them twice rather than not mentioning and refunding. Explain its run out don't just plop a plate of burnt food down and expect me to pay £17.50 for the privilege.

Went for my birthday meal. 21 people(14 adults, 7 kids from baby age to 15). Everyone was lovely from the booking process(pre ordered to save time on the day/ensure everyone got what they wanted) to waving my brother and I off after a few post meal drinks. The food was fantastic. Hearty, home cooked feel with portions to match(there were several doggy bags taken home). Service friendly, welcoming, down to earth and with a smile. Kids all happy, adults too... Strongly recommend for a Sunday lunch/group gathering or just a nice pub to pop in to!!!
